Private Lessons

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality music instruction by the highest caliber teachers. We believe that students learn to love music and love playing their instruments if they have a strong technical foundation. The student will learn that it is more important (and ultimately more fulfulling) to play Twinkle, Twinkle in tune with a beautiful tone than to scratch out the theme to Harry Potter. It is also our belief that lessons should be fun and engaging within a positive and supportive atmosphere.

COSTS:
Half hour lessons are $25.00, hour lessons are $50.00.

PAYMENT:
The student will pay the teacher directly and each teacher will dictate his/her payment policies.

All-State Workshops

Prepare a stellar audition by attending one or all of our workshops. High schoolers, this is your chance to learn from Austin's finest professional string players. Austin Symphony section leaders will coach students and help prepare them for this year's challenging Paganini and Rode excerpts.

Adult Beginning Violin and Cello classes

You're a Led Zeppelin fan from way back but have always been fascinated by the violin as well. Or perhaps The Devil Went Down to Georgia is more your style. Regardless, these adult beginner workshops will set you on your way. But remember, our core philosophy is that a strong technical foundation, learned from the beginning, will lay the necessary groundwork to a fulfilling string-playing experience. You may not leave the workshops playing Stairway to Heaven, but you'll be on your way to a lifetime of heavenly music.
