ViolinMost instruments offered by Blackerby Violin Shop are set up in our own workshop. We know a fine instrument can be ruined by a poor set-up. Likewise, an average student instrument can be a joy to play when set-up by a professional. Most "bargain" instruments are no bargain if you must pay for a new bridge, planing the fingerboard and thinning the neck, not to mention decent strings. Please note that Blackerby Violin Shop names instruments based on the label located inside of the instrument. This is done to easily identify an instrument and is not necessarily indicative of its maker. |
