Blackerby Violin Shop strives to provide the best quality products to its customers. All items sold in our store or shipped to customers are inspected by one of our qualified staff members for quality assurance. However, some issues with products only present themselves after initial use and may be undetectable during inspection.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase or believe it is defective, please read the following:
Please inspect your instrument, case, or bow thoroughly upon receipt for damage. If you believe your item is damaged, please document the damage with photos and contact us immediately. Retain all packaging material and discontinue using the item.
If you believe your instrument, case, or bow is defective, you must notify us by phone or email within 14 days of receipt. A staff member will look into your case. In the event that the product is defective, you must ship the item back with all of its original packaging materials as well any additional accessories and loose items (straps, keys, bags, pads, etc.) in order to receive a full refund.
In the absence of a defect, a 10% restocking fee will be charged in order to receive a refund. This option is only available for 14 days after the receipt of your item(s).
If you would like to exchange your item with another item of equal or greater value of the same type (violin for violin, case for case, etc.), you may do so within 14 days of receiving it. You must pay both the return shipping and shipping cost of the new item. Additionally, your returned item must be in the same condition you received it and include all original packaging, additional accessories, and loose items.
If you believe your strings or accessories are defective, you must contact the manufacturer of that item. If you are unable to find the contact information of the manufacturer you would like to contact, please call us and we will assist you. Do not discard the item(s).
Strings and other accessories can be exchanged for items of equal or greater value if the items are unused. Strings that have been wound around the pegs and tensioned are considered used and are ineligible for exchange. Customers must pay both the return shipping and shipping for the new items.
Sheet music items are ineligible for refunds. If you believe your sheet music contains a misprint, please contact the publisher of that item.
