Performance Hall & Teaching Studios

We are proud to offer a quality, affordable, and accessible performance hall and teaching studio.

Our Performance Hall is an ideal stage for soloists and small ensembles. It is also well suited for rehearsals, performances, professional recordings, and group classes.

Acoustic and unplugged art forms shine here: small orchestral ensembles, guitars, singer-songwriters, open mic, spoken word, acoustic instruments, and piano. Our baby grand (on wheels) lives on stage for all performances. The stage may be well suited for certain kinds of dance, depending on space needed.

Our Teaching Studio is ideal for one-on-one sessions between teachers and students.

Studio

• The rate for a teaching studio is $15 / hour.

• The minimum booking is 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, we book in 15 minute increments.

Performance Hall

• The rate for the performance hall is $115 / hour.

• The capacity of the hall can hold between 75 - 90 guests.

• The minimum booking is 1 hour. After 1 hour we book in 30 minute increments. (with 30 min increments in between performances for set up and tear down)

• Please book all the time you need for set up, guest arrival, performance, reception, tear down, and exit. We cannot guarantee time slot adjustments after booking (including both extension and shortening). We bill for time that is reserved.

• You and your guests are more than welcome to enjoy refreshments in the studio house during your booking. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen if needed. 

  However, please refrain from refreshments in the recital performance hall itself.

• The parking lot is open to recital hall and studio guests. Please do not park directly in front of the shop during open hours.

  Monday - Friday 10 - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm.

Audio / Video Recording

We provide audio / video recordings for performance hall bookings. This service is ideal for audition tapes. We will provide you with a thumb drive of your recording and keep a copy in our files for one year in case you need to access for any reason. We charge $115 / hour for A/V recording services, which is included in the performance hall reservation.

Billing

• We will bill for the time that is reserved.

• After confirmation of your event we will send you a bill via email with a link to a QuickBooks Online invoice to collect your deposit. You may pay with a credit or debit card. Cash payments may be arranged if needed.

• Your booking will be published on our calendar and confirmed once we have received your deposit.

• A 50% deposit is required upon booking the recital hall in order to reserve dates.

• The remaining 50% will be due by the day of your event. 

• All events booked within 30 days of reservation will be billed full amount due upon booking. 

• We wish to maintain an accessible space for everyone, and are willing to work with you on a case by case basis if the above criteria is not possible.

Refund / Rebooking

• The deposit will be fully refundable up to 60 days of the scheduled event. 

• The deposit will be 50% refundable up to 30 days of the scheduled event, or you may rebook for a different date at no additional fee (one time).

• The deposit will not be refundable less than 30 days of the scheduled event, but you may reschedule for a different date at no additional fee (one time). 

• Urgent rebookings considered on a case by case basis.
